Jeff Hammer, MD
Dr. Jeff Hammer is the Presdient of Virginia Center for Women. Virginia Center for Women was founded in 1990 to meet the obstetrical and gynecological needs of women in the community. Derwin Gray, MD
Dr. Gray is a graduate of Tulane University School of medicine. He completed his residency at Howard University Hospital in Washington DC in 1988. He is both certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Linda Mathison-Ezieme, MD
Dr. Linda Mathison-Ezieme received her undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Rochester. Her residency was completed in June 2002 at Danbury Hospital in Danbury, Connecticut, an affiliate of Yale University where she served as Administrative Chief Resident. She served on the academic faculties at Louisiana State University before joining our group. She is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Learn More
Melody Tapp, RNC, MSN, WHNP
Melody Tapp has been a nurse practitioner caring for women since 2004. She graduated from Old Dominion University in December 2003 with a Masters of Science in Nursing from the Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner program. After becoming certified as a Nurse Practitioner, she worked for Planned Parenthood prior to joining the team at Virginia Center for Women in the summer of 2004. Learn More.
Tracy Papp, RNC, MSN, WHNP
Tracy Papp is a Board Certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner with 20 years of experience in women’s healthcare. She earned her Bachelor in Nursing from Norfolk State University in 1995. She spent the next nine years as a Labor and Delivery nurse at local hospitals where she earned her Inpatient OB certification and was awarded the President’s Medal for Excellence in Nursing at Chesapeake General Hospital.
