Derwin P Gray Sr, MD

Dr. Gray is a graduate of Tulane University School of medicine. He completed his residency at Howard University Hospital in Washington DC in 1988. He is both certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Dr. Gray is also a member of the Board at Eastern Virginia Medical School (EVMS). Learn More


Linda Mathison-Ezieme, MD

Dr. Linda Mathison-Ezieme received her undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Rochester. Her residency was completed in June 2002 at Danbury Hospital in Danbury, Connecticut, an affiliate of Yale University where she served as Administrative Chief Resident. She served on the academic faculties at Louisiana State University before joining our group. She is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Learn More


Lenny Laureta, DO

Dr. Lenny Laureta received her bachelor of science degree from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia, and earned her medical degree from the Edward Via Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg, Virginia. She completed her residency training at Sisters of Charity Hospital/State University of New York, Buffalo. During her training, Dr. Laureta was the recipient of the AUGS Award for Excellence in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery and the AAGL Special Resident in Minimally Invasive Gynecology Award . Derwin P Gray II, MD

Dr. Gray was born and raised in Hampton Roads. He attended Norfolk Academy and received his Bachelor of Science from Morehouse College. He received his medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School and completed residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at NYU in New York. He specializes in minimally invasive gynecologic procedures and performs advanced procedures with the da Vinci Robot. He is fluent in English and Spanish.


Melody Tapp, RNC, MSN, WHNP

Melody Tapp has been a nurse practitioner caring for women since 2004. She graduated from Old Dominion University in December 2003 with a Masters of Science in Nursing from the Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner program. After becoming certified as a Nurse Practitioner, she worked for Planned Parenthood prior to joining the team at Virginia Center for Women in the summer of 2004. Learn More.


Rachel Rotenberry, RNC, MSN, WHNP

RACHEL E. ROTENBERRY, WHNP

Rachel Rotenberry is a Board Certified Women's Health Nurse Practitioner with 30 years of experience in women's healthcare. She earned her Diploma in Nursing from Norfolk General School of Nursing in 1986 and later her Bachelor of Nursing from Old Dominion University in 1999. She spent 20 years as a Labor and Delivery nurse at local hospitals where she earned her Inpatient OB Certification. She earned her Master's of Nursing degree from Old Dominion University in 2004 and has been practicing in the Tidewater area since 2005. Rachel has one son and lives in Virginia Beach.
