Welcome to our practice. We hope your pregnancy will be a happy and healthy experience. We would like to introduce you to our staff.

Dr. Jeff Hammer

Has one daughter, Melissa. Dr. Hammer is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. He currently serves on the board of directors at Chesapeake Regional Medical Center and The Outer Banks Hospital. He enjoys fishing, skiing and photography.

Dr. Derwin Gray

Dr. Gray is a graduate of Tulane University, School of medicine, New Orleans, LA and Howard University Hospital, Washington DC.

His interests are minimally invasive surgery which includes Laparoscopic Hysterectomy and Vaginal Reconstructive Surgery.

He is married to Desiree with three children.

Dr. Candice Geary

Married to Steven and has 3 children, Kara, Alysa and Kevin. She is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. She started out as a Labor and Delivery Nurse at DePaul, then became a Nurse Practitioner, then went to Eastern Virginia Medical School and did her residency in Buffalo New York. She enjoys sewing and cooking.

Dr. Timothy Kling

Originally from Iowa, he now lives in the Outer Banks with his wife Candice. He has 2 grown sons. Dr. Kling is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. He attended the University of Iowa for both medical school and residency. He enjoys sailing, needlepoint and reading.

Dr. Linda Mathison-Ezieme

Is married to Dr. Ezieme, a hospitalist at Chesapeake Regional Medical Center, and has 2 children. She is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. She attended medical school at the University of Rochester and did her residency in Danbury Connecticut. Prior to moving to Virginia she practiced as a clinical instructor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans.

Melody Tapp RNC, MSN, WHNP

Married to Jeff, she is the mother of triplet boys John, Joseph and James. She graduated from Radford University and practiced as a registered nurse in labor and delivery for 8 years before receiving her Master's Degree from Old Dominion University as a Women's Health Nurse Practioner. She enjoys reading and spending time with her family.

Tracy Papp RNC, MSN, WHNP

Married to Andy, she is the mother of 2 boys, Hunter and Taylor. She graduated from Norfolk State and worked 10 years as a registered nurse in labor and delivery. She graduated from Old Dominion University as a Women's Health Nurse Practioner in 2004. She is active in her church and enjoys spending time with her family and playing the piano.
